La Martinière Lucknow is a college now and providing liberal education these days in Lucknow. It’s Constantia building as perhaps the best preserved colonial building in Lucknow.
It was built by Claude Martin a French cooper. It has a campus of around 400 acres (1.6 km2), part of which is now used by Lucknow Golf Club.
La Martinière architecture has statues in modern and older antique style.
La Martinière is now a college. It was evacuated by Claude Martin on order of Sir Henry Lawrence.
