Zoo A Man-Made Habitat
Lucknow zoo is just a man-made habitat. Destruction and loss of natural habitat is the single largest cause of biodiversity loss. Sometimes the loss of habitat is in instalment. It’s called Habitat Fragmentation.There has been a rapid disappearance of tropical forests in our country also, at the rate of about 0.6% per year.
