A Turing Point of Coin of Awadh
After the 1857 freedom fight Kadar, the son of Wajid Ali Shah was declared Nawab Wajir and he again made the Mughal empire currency to the currency of Awadh. At that time the gold coin was called Ashrafi, and the silver coin was Rupees. It had 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, and 1/16 part of the rupees.
